Like the Islander, the GUNG HO is a boat for the person looking for traditional styling; an instant classic. This is one of those boats that draws the attention from passers-by at the marina or yacht club. When properly finished with natural mahoghany and chrome fittings, she has the look of those classic cruisers often seen in the yachting magazines.
And she's not just a pretty face. The GUNG HO is spacious with full 6'3" headroom in the cabin and accommodations that make extended cruising practical. One builder logged over 18,000 hours on his before building one of our larger designs. The cabin has an enclosed head, L-shaped galley, vee berths, and a convertible dinette, all with full headroom both in the cabin and under the shelter top (which can be omitted if desired). As with many of our larger high speed cruisers, the GUNG HO features our bulbous keel and reverse curve at the chine for excellent rough water ability.
