The BUCK BOARD is simple to build, easily transportable, and a real kick to sail. Rigging is a cinch as no stays are required. Shove off from the shore, unfurl the sail, and get ready for a thrill. You'll really move out with all that sail area, but you'll be in complete control because of the simple, easy handling lateen rig.

Just about anyone can build his own BUCK BOARD, even the kids with a little help from pop. It's cheap and easy, too. The BUCKBOARD requires only two and a half sheets of 1/4" AB exterior plywood. No building form or special tools are needed and the few materials required are readily available. Step-by-step instructions carry you through the project, and the Full Size Patterns prevent mistakes. This is an ideal summer project and a good introduction into the worlds of boatbuilding and sailing.

COMPLETE PLANS include FULL SIZE PATTERNS for the rudder, daggerboard, daggerboard trunk, bulkhead frames, and transom. Instructions include Bill of Materials, Fastening Schedule, and material utilization layouts.
