The feature that sets the GLEN-L 15 apart is the big cockpit. There's over 18 lineal feet of seating and plenty of foot room. The boat is ideal for a large family, and is safe and stable. The sloop rig provides excellent performance, and if desired, the jib may be left in the bag and the boat sailed single-handed. The main sail is large enough to allow good performance by itself. The GLEN-L 15 can perform double duty as a light fishing skiff or utility boat by using a lightweight outboard motor up to 7-1/2 horsepower.
Sailing and building your own GLEN-L 15 is simple, even for the beginner. Our Plans are specially intended for the amateur. You can outfit yours just as our designers intended it to be, by using our various kits. Whichever way you decide to build, you and your family will enjoy both building and sailing the GLEN-L 15.
