Hull type: High speed planing hull with full length modified
deep vee. Compound bottom with bulbous section at the keel and reverse curve at
the chine. Designed for double diagonal plywood planking on the bottom and
sheet plywood on the sides.
Power: Inboard marine engine, gasoline or diesel, with appropriate reduction
gears, usually 1 1/2: 1 or 2:1. Engine may be centrally located with
conventional drive or stern mounted with either vee drive or outdrive unit.
Engine weight not to exceed 1100 lbs. for stern mounted installation. Twin
screws may be used, centrally mounted with addition of motor box in the
cockpit.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Yes. Up to 10% by re-spacing the frames
from the aft end of the stem to the transom a proportional amount. We do not
recommend increasing the beam. |
