Sea Knight Building Form
The boat is built bottom-side up. A form must be built to support the frames, stem and transom. Set-up members must be accurately aligned 26" apart and level lengthwise and athwartship. The entire jig must be anchored in place to prevent movement during construction of the hull. Frames are mounted resting on the set-up members as shown. They must be centered on the set-up members (athwartship), accurately spaced, plumbed in position and level from chine point to chine point.
